Pip meets the convict Storry

When Philip Pirrip Was very young,he could not say his name.He called himselp Pip.After That,ecerbody called him Pip.
              His mother and father died when he was small .He lived with his sister,who was married to the village blacksmith ,Joe Gargery.
              The village they lived in was on the essex marshes,about twenty miles from the sea.
        One cold afternoon,Pipwas playing by himself in the churchyard.He was still a small boy,and it was getting dark.The wind was howling on the marshes.
           Pip Looked at the tombstones of his father and mother,and his five little brothers.For the first time he understood that they were all dead.He felt frightened and lonely,and he began to cry.
            (Stop that noise!) cried a loud voice,A man suddenly appeared and seized hold of him .Pip was terrified He had never seen the man before .
            The man was dressed in rough grey clothes.He had a band of iron round one ankle.His clothes were and muddy.A handkerchief was tied round his head.His face and hands had been scratched by thorns and stung by nettles,and he was shivering with cold.
        He seized Pip by the throat.
"What is your name?" he growled.
"Pip sir," said Pip terrified.
"Where do you live?" said the man.
       Pip pointed to the village< which was a mile away.The Man turned Pip upside-down and emptied his pockets.He found a piece of bread.He lifted Pip up on to a tombstone and began to eat the bread hungrily.
    "Where is your mother?"the man saked.
"there, sir," said Pip, pointing to his mother grave.
              "Is that your father beside her?" asked the man.
"Yes, sir," answered Pip.
"Who do you live with?" Asked the man next.
"My sister, sir," Said Pip."Mrs.Joe Gargery ,the wife of the village blacksmith."
        "The blacksmith!" cried the man.He seemed excited."Look here,do you know what a file is?
  Pip nodded his head,and the man seized hold of him again.
   "Will you get a file and some food , and bring them to me tomorrow morning ?" the man asked.
"Will you promise to do this?"
Pip promised to bring him a file and some food early the next morning.The man let him go.
    "Now go home,"he said."Don"t forget."He turned and limped away.
  Pip watched him go,then he turned and ran as fast as he could all the way home.
